The foundation
In 1992, Shri Sharanappa S. Alur started his entrepreneurial career, founding what would become 'S. S. Alur Engineers & Contractors'. Fuelled by a dream to connect people and communities through robust infrastructure, his ambition went beyond building a construction enterprise — his vision was to inculcate safe construction practices and create a socially responsible organisation that contributes to the development of the region.
Earning a reputation
The company undertook diverse construction projects, steadily earning a reputation for quality workmanship, punctuality, and exceptional project management. We built our name constructing roads, bridges, and canals — consistently delivering on commitments and exceeding client expectations.
Strategic restructuring
To consolidate our position in the industry and drive further growth, S. S. Alur Engineers & Contractors was reborn as 'M/s S. S. Alur Construction Company', a partnership firm. The restructuring brought new vigour and impetus, allowing new perspectives and ideas while ensuring our founder's vision continued to thrive.
Rapid expansion
Since then, the company has rapidly expanded operations across Karnataka, undertaking significant projects such as the Mudhol Bypass Road and the Greenfield Airport at Vijayapura. We have also ventured into the manufacture of stone aggregates and M-Sand, utilising state-of-the-art crushers and M-Sand units.
